<p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Vital Pakistan Trust started its ten year journey from Rehri Goth, an impoverished and neglected peri-urban community of over 60,000 residents on the outskirts of Karachi, Pakistan. Through baseline surveys conducted in the community in 2012 and 2013, we learned that Rehri Goth had a neonatal mortality of 57 deaths per thousand live births and an under-5 mortality of 107 deaths per thousand live births. Vital Pakistan Trust’s journey to help the most marginalised women and children living in the urban slums in over 45 sites across Karachi, providing free, quality healthcare services to mothers and children who need it the most.</span></p>

With better access, deaths can be reduced significantly, and mothers and young babies can have a chance to lead healthy, normal lives. Vital Pakistan Trust (VPT) is positioned uniquely in its quality of care, with highly trained staff and fully equipped clinics.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Since starting its operation, up until December 2023, Vital Pakistan Trust has provided 154, 000 free antenatal care services to women,&nbsp; provided medical care to 72,630 children, delivered 21,000 babies, and provided immunizations to over 180,000 children. All these services were provided free of cost and have been made possible because of sponsor support from people like you.</span></p>
